Responsibilities:
Objectives
Provide expert technical support to ensure customers can use the products correctly, efficiently, and successfully in their projects for the benefit of company. Provide customers with proper installation guidance which include on-sit support, testing requirement to offer customer accurate installation advise. Identify errors occurring after installation with providing corrective advice.
Main Tasks
- Coordinate with sales team and/or marketing team to advice proper installation guidance for any particular projects.
- On-site inspection before product installation to ensure all conditions are align with typical product guidance. Feedback any defect occur to related customer and internal team to make sure defects have been solved before product installation.
- On-site visit during installation to observe customer apply product correctly. Provide suitable recommendation if there have any suspect or wrong direction.
- Able to identify cause of defect or errors after installation with provide corrective advice to related customers.
- Assist in the localized development of Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Method Statements
- Join customer meeting with customer on requested by sales or marketing team.
- Demonstrate and ability to conduct product installation to target customers. Also, able to provide product training regards to on requested.
- Collaborate with draftsman to revise detailed drawings in accordance with real-world site conditions.
- Reporting :
- Pre-Installation Assessment Report : Substrate condition (e.g., moisture levels, cleanliness), weather conditions, and availability of correct tools.
- Site Visit & Compliance Report : Project name, application method used, worker competency, and any "on-the-spot" corrections made by the engineer.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / Defect Investigation : Photos of the defect, Site testing results (e.g., adhesion or leak tests), identified cause (product vs. application vs. external factors), and recommended rectifications.
- Technical Training & Demo Summary : Number of contractors trained, attendee names, assessment scores, and feedback on product "usability"
- Coaching and manage Foreman and Draftman
- Train and supervise internal Foremen on specialized application techniques, equipment calibration, and critical quality-control checkpoints.
- Review and provide technical validation for shop drawings produced by the Draftsman, ensuring all details comply with product specifications and site-specific requirements before final submission.
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.70 for undergraduate.
- Native Thai, conversation English for technical documentation and international coordination (TOEIC score of 550 or above)
- Experience : At least 3–5 years of experience in technical support, site supervision, or technical services within the construction industry.
- Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of construction chemical products and correct installation procedures. Ability to interpret and analyze shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Software Skills : Proficiency in basic computer programs. Ability to use AutoCAD to review or revise detailed drawings in collaboration with Draftsmen is a strong advantage.
- Training & Coaching Skills : Proven ability to conduct product demonstrations and provide technical training to contractors or internal teams. Experience in supervising and coaching Foremen on application techniques and quality control.
