Data Engineer, Corporate Procurement Office (Special Contract)

Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining the ETL/ELT pipelines and APIs that support business processes and supply clean, reliable data to downstream AI and procurement systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and data flows.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support business applications and integrations.
• Optimize database performance, troubleshoot complex SQL queries, and improve system efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality datasets for AI, analytics, and procurement-related use cases.
• Implement data quality controls, monitoring mechanisms, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of data architecture, governance, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, REST APIs
• Solid understanding of database design and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with database performance tuning and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
