Market Development Officer (Vietnamese Speaker) - Vina Kraft Paper, Hanoi

Position brief:

As a Market Development Officer, you will be responsible for driving market growth and expanding the presence of OSP and A4 paper products. This role focuses on effectively managing customer accounts, building strong business relationships, and executing strategic sales promotion campaigns to achieve the company's business objectives.

Working location: Hanoi, Vietnam (Remote working)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Care (15%):

• To promote positive relations with customers, suppliers, and distributors by visiting customers

Market Research (15%):

• To monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against targets and competitors

Strategy & Planning (30%):

• To analyze the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
• To develop market strategies with action plans to win new business, in order to gain new opportunities and win new customers
• To participate in the development of new project proposals as required

Management & Operations (30%):

• Propose monthly sales plan to manager
• To establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operate the procedure as required by the company's management
• Follow all job processes: manage orders, issue load plans, SC, follow payments, manage shipment schedules, and ship docs

Reporting (10%):

• Making weekly reports, monthly reports, and import data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in market development, sales or related commercial functions
• Good in English and communication, both spoken and written
• Problem solving skill
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently in Hanoi (remote working)
• Reporting directly to the manager based in HCMC
