Researcher (HDPE) - TPE, Chemicals Business (Contract)

Job Summary:

Responsible for innovating, developing, and enhancing existing knowledge in order to create new knowledge, technologies, products, and innovations that align with the business's plans and goals. This is to strengthen competitive in the field of products and technology, ensuring long-term sustainability for the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Idea Generation: Generate new ideas regularly with proposed technology concepts to drive continuous innovation.
• Research & Development: Perform R&D as a team member in PoC, TD, NPD, FI. Able to develop and design technology and/or products in related technical areas such as catalyst, polymerization technology, polymer structure-property relationship, polymer reaction engineering, processing, additives, and characterization.
• Methodology & Expertise: Apply robust research methodology and leverage research experience, expertise, and networks to develop differentiated technology and products.
• Initiative & Management: Take initiative, prioritize duties, solve problems, and work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Maintain close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and perform appropriate follow-ups.
• Advanced Analytics: Design and select advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify the
  complexity of responsible technologies, understanding correlations, consequences, and risk
  management.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Degree in Polymer Science, Analytical Science, Polymer Physics, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.70 for undergraduate and 3.30 for postgraduate studies
• Strong command of English (TOEIC score 700 or above)
• Proven ability to design, conduct, and analyze research experiments, with strong problem-solving skills
• Collaborative research mindset with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to work in Rayong
