Data Engineer (PROMPT PLUS Platform) – SCG Distribution

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the data architecture and infrastructure that enable the storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data which requires a combination of technical skills and proficiency with various software tools to effectively manage and manipulate data.

Job Descriptions

1. Data Pipeline Development : They design, construct, and maintain scalable data pipelines that collect, process, and distribute data across systems.
2. Database Management : They manage databases and data warehouses, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and security. This includes schema design, indexing strategies, and optimizing query performance.
3. Data Integration: They integrate data from different sources and systems to provide unified views and ensure data consistency
4. across the organization. This may involve designing APIs, implementing data synchronization processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer , Data Engineering, or a related field. ( A minimum GPA of 2.70 for the Bachelor's degree and 3.30 for the Master's degree.)
• Good command of English, with a minimum TOEIC score of 550 or CEFR B1 level. Candidates without a valid English proficiency test score may take the assessment at a later stage.
• Experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and data pipeline design.
• Strong SQL skills with knowledge of database management and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and/or Azure data services.
• Proficiency in Power BI and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
