Job Summary : Develop an advanced electrical sensing technology to improve static equipment health monitoring and plant reliability. (Provide advanced technical support (Tier 3) for static equipment sensor product, lead the development of next-generation of Static equipment condition monitoring and inspection solutions, and establish sensor standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy diagnostic tools and digital systems that enhance equipment reliability and operation performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced technical support (Tier 3) for Corrotex sensor, UT sensor and ER sensor for static equipment condition monitoring, support sensor troubleshooting, root-cause verification, recommended action if required.
- Develop and enhance the next-generation Static health sensor such as Corrotex, including algorithms, test procedures, and diagnostic features.
- Conduct research, design, and evaluation of static equipment sensing technologies, including new inspection techniques to improve detection of abnormal conditions.
- Establish and maintain standards/specifications for electrical conditions-monitoring sensors to ensure data quality, reliability, and compatibility.
- Collaborate with reliability, maintenance, and digital platform teams to integrate static equipment health data into predictive maintenance system and digital twins.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of static equipment and degradation mechanisms, especially corrosion
- Experience with static equipment sensing and inspection technologies (e.g. Corrotex, UT, ER, or similar condition-monitoring sensors)
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis (Tier 3 support)
- Experience developing or improving diagnostic methods, test procedures, or inspection techniques
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis or algorithm development
- Familiarity with LabVIEW or engineering/measurement tools
- Ability to work closely with plant reliability, maintenance, and digital teams
- Good command of English for technical communication
- Work Location: Rayong Province.
