Senior Technical Service Engineer - Cement (Future Technical Service Leader Track) - Vietnamese Speaker

Role Purpose

To lead technical service operations and customer solution development for cement powder products in Southern Vietnam, driving specification conversion, ready-mix optimization, and sales growth with a clear target to double cement powder sales in the region.

This role is designed as a succession pipeline toward Technical Service Manager / Technical Leader of SCG Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Solution & Formula Optimization

• Provide on-site technical support for Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) customers
• Optimize cement formula and mix design according to customer requirements
• Improve workability, strength, cost efficiency, and performance
• Collaborate with production to adjust product specification when required

2. Ready-Mix & Customer Application Expertise

• Support batching plant calibration and performance testing
• Analyze concrete performance issues and propose corrective actions
• Lead technical trials and product validation programs
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, and developers

3. Technical Sales & Specification Conversion

• Drive conversion from competitor cement to SCG cement powder
• Provide technical justification and performance benchmarking
• Support Sales team in closing technical-based deals
• Actively participate in customer negotiation with solution-based approach

4. Market Expansion & Growth Execution

• Identify high-potential RMC customers in Southern region
• Develop technical engagement plan for key accounts
• Drive cement powder adoption in new projects
• Contribute to doubling sales volume in Southern Vietnam

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Production, QA/QC, and Supply Chain
• Provide market feedback for product development
• Support complaint handling and technical risk management

Performance Targets

• Double cement powder sales in Southern Vietnam
• Increase RMC customer conversion rate
• Reduce technical complaint cases
• Improve customer satisfaction index
• Expand specification approval projects

Qualifications

1.Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, Concrete Technology, or related field

2.Experience

• 7–12 years in cement technical service / concrete technology
• Strong experience in Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC)
• Hands-on experience in mix design optimization
• Experience working with batching plants
• Experience supporting B2B cement sales
• Exposure in Southern Vietnam market preferred

3.Technical Skills

• Concrete mix design & formulation improvement
• Cement performance analysis
