Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing indirect categories sourcing strategies and executing strategies to raise new business models.
- Manages corporate/strategic agreements and purchase orders, including monitoring performance, prices, and certifications; exercising options, conducting market analysis, and negotiating prices; cradle to grave maintenance of agreements/subcontracts and purchase order files; issuing modifications as necessary; assisting management in resolving supplier problems; and resolving invoicing issues with Finance and Accounting.
- Oversees/evaluates potential suppliers and ongoing performance. Performs periodic reviews of procurement actions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, competition requirements, and prime contract requirements.
- Ensures that all necessary data is entered and maintained in automated systems; provides feedback on data quality and system/ process improvement opportunities
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders (Domestic and Regional) to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for SLA development through' Category, Supplier portfolio management, and SKU rationalization.
- Identify and collaborate with Preferred suppliers that can meet the technical needs of the request; may require collaboration with non-Preferred suppliers or a search for new suppliers that can support the technical requirements of the product.
- Utilize product knowledge to provide alternative product solutions or recommendations in competitive situations or when a functional equivalent is permitted
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- 1-3 years' experience in procurement/sales engineer-related fields will be advantageous.
- Strong Entrepreneur mindset, Hands-on and CAN DO Attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data analytics will be advantageous (e.g., Excel, BI Report)
- Strong Digital Literacy, problem-solving, and Analytical skills
- Background in Industrial Segment Preferred
- English proficiency in the Business dimension
