Formulation and Additive Solution Engineer, Chemicals Business (Rayong Based)

Job Summary:

1. Development prototypes to serve NPD/PI/NAD and FI non-NPD (cost reduction and BCM raw material) by leveraging core technologies such as materials design, additives, and polymer formulation.
2. Build up own additives & polymer formulation technologies/ capabilities tgat align to MTP and Innovation strategy.
3. Create a comprehensive technology foresight roadmap by monitor regulations and laws related to polyolefin products and application while building a network with industry experts to stay abreast of technological trends that support material design and polymer formulation.

Key responsibilities:

1. Additive formulation: Advancing the development of new products and driving cost reduction initiatives for PE and PP plants, while optimizing production efficiency and material performance.
2. Compound Formulation: Creating Innovative compound formulations to support the development of new products in the compound business, meeting specific business and market demands.
3. Application Solutions: Developing tailored formulations that deliver comprehensive application solutions for our customers, ensuring the highest quality and functionality to meet their unique requirement.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related fields (Minimum GPA of 2.70 for undergraduate and 3.30 for postgraduate studies)
• Strong background in polymer & additive formulation technologies
• Experience in formulation development and new product innovation is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong English communication (TOEIC 550+)
• Team-oriented mindset and able to work cross-functionally
• Willingness to work in Rayong
