Role Overview

CBM Vietnam (a member of SCG Group) is seeking a dynamic and high-potential Marketing Manager – Commercial to lead strategic marketing initiatives across Cement and Building Materials portfolio in Vietnam.

The role will oversee Brand Strategy, Positioning, Market Development, and Commercial Activation for products such as:

  • Fibre Cement
  • Ceramic Roof
  • White Cement
  • Structural Cement
  • Selected products from SCG International Vietnam (e.g., Kubota and related brands)

This position is part of our Future Marketing Leader Development Track, preparing the selected candidate to grow into a senior marketing leadership role within SCG Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop brand positioning strategy for Cement & Building Materials portfolio
  • Define target segments (contractor, developer, distributor, modern trade)
  • Strengthen brand differentiation in competitive Vietnamese market
  • Ensure alignment with SCG regional brand guidelines

2. Portfolio & Product Marketing

  • Manage product lifecycle and portfolio strategy
  • Launch new products and coordinate go-to-market strategy
  • Develop value proposition and pricing strategy
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking

3. Commercial & Trade Marketing

  • Drive commercial campaigns to increase market share
  • Support sales team with marketing tools & activation programs
  • Develop distributor engagement programs
  • Monitor promotion effectiveness and ROI

4. Market Intelligence & Consumer Insight

  • Analyze market trends and construction industry outlook
  • Conduct competitor analysis
  • Lead customer research and insight generation
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies

5. Cross-Business Collaboration

  • Coordinate with SCG International Vietnam (e.g., Kubota portfolio)
  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Production
  • Support business expansion in Southern Vietnam

Qualifications

1.Education

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field

2.Experience

  • 8–12 years in Marketing or Commercial roles
  • Experience in Building Materials / Construction / Cement industry preferred
  • Strong exposure to B2B marketing and distribution channel management
  • Experience managing multi-brand portfolio
