Role Overview
CBM Vietnam (a member of SCG Group) is seeking a dynamic and high-potential Marketing Manager – Commercial to lead strategic marketing initiatives across Cement and Building Materials portfolio in Vietnam.
The role will oversee Brand Strategy, Positioning, Market Development, and Commercial Activation for products such as:
- Fibre Cement
- Ceramic Roof
- White Cement
- Structural Cement
- Selected products from SCG International Vietnam (e.g., Kubota and related brands)
This position is part of our Future Marketing Leader Development Track, preparing the selected candidate to grow into a senior marketing leadership role within SCG Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop brand positioning strategy for Cement & Building Materials portfolio
- Define target segments (contractor, developer, distributor, modern trade)
- Strengthen brand differentiation in competitive Vietnamese market
- Ensure alignment with SCG regional brand guidelines
2. Portfolio & Product Marketing
- Manage product lifecycle and portfolio strategy
- Launch new products and coordinate go-to-market strategy
- Develop value proposition and pricing strategy
- Conduct competitive benchmarking
3. Commercial & Trade Marketing
- Drive commercial campaigns to increase market share
- Support sales team with marketing tools & activation programs
- Develop distributor engagement programs
- Monitor promotion effectiveness and ROI
4. Market Intelligence & Consumer Insight
- Analyze market trends and construction industry outlook
- Conduct competitor analysis
- Lead customer research and insight generation
- Translate insights into actionable strategies
5. Cross-Business Collaboration
- Coordinate with SCG International Vietnam (e.g., Kubota portfolio)
- Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Production
- Support business expansion in Southern Vietnam
Qualifications
1.Education
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
2.Experience
- 8–12 years in Marketing or Commercial roles
- Experience in Building Materials / Construction / Cement industry preferred
- Strong exposure to B2B marketing and distribution channel management
- Experience managing multi-brand portfolio
