As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Reporting to CDGI CEO and CDGI Head of Broking, the Primary Responsibility of the position of Senior Executive/Assistant Manager is to ensure the profitability, growth and retention of the retail/commercial accounts. The Senior Executive /Assistant Manager assist the reporting officer to develop key account plans and programme structures and implement the account strategy in relation to holistic health and wellness and customer engagement.
- As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you are responsible for all the business aspects of the EB account, in order to ensure that all risks in relation to employees are adequately covered by insurance or other risk transfer alternatives.
- The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager supports the team to achieve high standards set for the development and servicing of the assigned EB account. The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager being part of the team must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with HR of the assigned accounts, to assist on day to day admin, preparation of quotation/placement slips, insurance enquiries and to resolve amicably any complaints that come up along the way.
- The Senior Executive must be pro-active to foster an effective tripartite relationship between client, the insurer and CDGI, and to support on claims analysis meetings as and when required by clients.
- To meet and exceed service standards, to resolve any conflicts both internally and externally while taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of development, account management, tender management, renewal management and service delivery in relation to EB Program.
- Handle customer complaints against insurer and panel clinic provider.
- To implement and manage the effective delivery of key customer programs including communication/health and wellness strategies, employee roadshows, issue resolution, claims and regular servicing programmes.
- To develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and liaison.
- As a team member to actively support any additional business/grow revenue from existing portfolio.
- To ensure the timely collection of all monies due from clients, to ensure the prompt payment to the insurer.
- To maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of the client.
- To keep abreast of all new technical, product developments, changing market conditions and to inform the account team members, clients of major developments affecting various types of coverage, including recommending appropriate proposals to clients where necessary.
- To have the necessary technical, product and market knowledge across all EB products, including the self-drive, initiative, professional presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels including Senior Management, to conclude account negotiations/renewal exercise with the insurance markets.
- To recommend/implement Wellness and Health Promotion programs. Corporate Wellness programs play a critical role in producing successful retention rates, higher rates of productivity and a healthier work force. This can range from the arrangement of free Talks by Doctors to staff on a variety of topics such a Chronic Diseases, Prevention of Diabetes, etc.
Requirements:
- Must possess M5 and M9 Qualifications in insurance.
- 4 to 5 years relevant experience an in insurance broker handling EB portfolio.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excell and Word
- Able to converse and write in both English and Chinese
- Good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
