Job Responsibilities
- Provide youth support and engagement services to young people.
- Assess individual needs and develop appropriate case, care and intervention plans.
- Develop, customise and deliver youth programmes based on participants' needs and interests.
- Facilitate group activities, support groups and engagement programmes.
- Build positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders, including staff, parents and external agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate programmes and recommend areas for improvement.
- Provide appropriate support and interventions based on individual needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive matters.
- Manage multiple cases, programmes and competing priorities effectively.
- Provide support during activities, programmes and other operational periods as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Social Work, Youth Work or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in social work or youth work; experience in a school or community setting is preferred.
- Experience in developing and delivering youth programmes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and programme management skills.
- Ability to assess needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Good judgement, discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential matters.
- Organised, adaptable and able to work effectively with different stakeholders.
Duration/Working Hours:
10 month (Jan 2027 to Oct 2027)
Tuesdays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:00pm (per week), inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The total estimated contract hours are: 936 hours
