Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Student Development Team (SDT) in student management and case management matters.
  • Supervise students in holding rooms, detention, and in-school suspension programmes.
  • Assist with student interviews, statement-taking, and case documentation.
  • Support selected students with additional needs (SwANs).
  • Review CCTV footage and maintain case management records.
  • Conduct regular patrols of school premises and surrounding areas to ensure student safety and discipline.
  • Support school events, excursions, and operational activities as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by school leaders.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a school environment, youth work, security, social service, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong rapport-building and communication skills with teenagers.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Good investigative, observation, and organisational skills.
  • Team player with a genuine passion for supporting and guiding youths
  • Dynamic school setting with opportunities to make a positive impact on students' development and well-being.

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Jul 2026 to Jun 2027)

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8am to 5pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 8am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
  • However, there could be school events on Saturdays, or extending to later part of the evening, for which all staff involved would be required to support accordingly.
