Key Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face and group counselling to individuals experiencing emotional or personal difficulties.

  • Support clients in managing mental health and well-being challenges.

  • Provide consultation and advice to supervisors/management on supporting staff well-being.

  • Collaborate with medical professionals and mental health partners to enhance support services.

  • Perform counselling hotline duties (2 × 24-hour shifts per month).

  • Conduct mental health awareness and training sessions.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Singapore Citizen.

  • Postgraduate degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology.

  • Experience in mental health and substance abuse counselling (individual and group settings).

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong English proficiency.

  • Basic IT and Microsoft Office knowledge.

  • Preferably a member of Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW), Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), or Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).

Duration/ Working hours:

1 year contract (May 2026 to Apr 2027)

For non-hotline duty days:
Monday – Thursday: 8.00am – 5.30pm
Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm

For hotline duty days:
8.00am on duty day to 8.00am the following day
