Job Responsibilities
- Conduct fact-finding and support case inquiries relating to student conduct matters.
- Engage students in a supportive and constructive manner and build positive rapport.
- Support restorative conversations and conflict-resolution activities where appropriate.
- Assist with parent/guardian engagement on student management matters.
- Escalate cases involving safety, well-being or serious misconduct to designated school personnel.
- Supervise students during recess, examinations, detention and student movement.
- Maintain accurate case records, notes and updates.
- Support detention supervision and monitor student behaviour and attendance.
- Refer disciplinary matters requiring further action to the relevant school personnel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, Education or related discipline preferred.
- At least 2 years' experience working with children or youths.
- Experience in student discipline, case management, counselling, youth mentoring or behaviour management is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to remain calm, objective and professional when handling sensitive situations.
- Good judgement, integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
Duration/Working Hours:
13 months (Oct 2026 to Nov 2027) Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 3.00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and school holidays
