Teacher Aide - NFS (Bendemeer)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walkabouts and supervise designated areas to maintain student discipline.
• Supervise students during detention, reflection sessions and community service.
• Assist with incident investigations and maintain relevant records.
• Guide students in addressing behavioural and disciplinary issues.
• Support school events and student development programmes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a school kitchen or similar environment.
• Minimum GCE N-Level qualification.
• Culinary or food science-related Nitec or Higher Nitec qualifications will be an advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written English, with the ability to converse in at least one other language.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, cookers, blenders and steamers.
• Confident in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to communicate with suppliers via email under the supervision of the teacher-in-charge. 

Duration/Working Hours: 

1 year - opt to extend 1 year (Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

Services required: 

Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct 2027
􀁸 1 to 18 Jun 2027 and 25 to 30 Jun 2027
􀁸 1 to 19 Nov 2027  

Mondays to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch
break
􀁸 Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm. inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
􀁸 Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays.
