About the job Sports Executives (Botanic Gardens)
Job Responsibilities

Work closely with the Sports Education (SE) Unit on the planning and administration of key sports events and activities.

Coordinate with SE Unit workstreams and officers to organise and manage events such as:

Council Standing Committee and Management Committee hybrid meetings.

Annual General Meeting (AGM).
-
NSG Opening Ceremony.
-
Colours Award Ceremony.
-

Manage administration of Council Recognition Awards, Colours Award nominations, and other recognition programmes.
-
Coordinate venue bookings for National School Games (NSG), schools, and approved external organisations.
-
Work with media partners to coordinate NSG live streams, student-athlete interviews, and media features.
-
Provide administrative support for SP-CCA programmes.
-
Support administrative matters for the ASEAN Schools Games (ASG) and related events.
-
Assist with administration for grants provided by external stakeholders and partners.
-
Support procurement and payment processing.
-
Attend and take minutes during bi-weekly unit meetings and other relevant meetings.
-
Perform other duties assigned by the Deputy Director or Senior Assistant Director.
Requirements

Singapore Citizen.
-
Preferably holds a Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience in sports event management or a similar role.
Skills & Competencies
-
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.

Knowledge of AI tools is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
20 months contract (Immediate)
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch
break
Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
