About the job ICT Trainer (Yew Tee)
Role Overview
The ICT/Enrichment Trainer will plan and deliver ICT programmes for students and staff, while supporting the Authoritys overall ICT initiatives. The role includes curriculum planning, training delivery, ICT system support, and maintaining digital learning resources.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Planning & Delivery

Work with HOD/ICT to design and implement ICT programmes aligned with curriculum objectives

Conduct ICT training for students and staff

Support ICT-related projects (e.g. photography, videography, video editing)

Assist in researching and developing ICT solutions
Student Training
-
Basic computer operations and digital literacy (e.g. Microsoft Office, touch typing)

Coding and computational thinking (e.g. Scratch, Micro:bit, Matatalab, Arduino, drone programming)

Ensure students attendance, safety, and well-being during training
Staff Training & Support
-
Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint Live)
-
Google/Apple applications (e.g. Google Classroom, Apple Classroom)
-
Student Learning Space (SLS) and Home-Based Learning (HBL) platforms
-
Photo/video editing and coding basics
-
Provide hands-on support to improve teachers ICT skills
ICT & Administrative Support

Maintain computer labs, iPad carts, and digital devices
-
Manage school website and social media platforms
-
Support ICT troubleshooting and administrative tasks

Ensure compliance with MOE policies and guidelines
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Diploma or higher in a relevant field (experience may substitute qualifications)

Strong knowledge of Scratch (required)

Familiar with Micro:bit and/or Matatalab (preferred)

Photography (DSLR) and photo editing skills (e.g. Photoshop)

Videography and video editing skills

Knowledge of Google applications and ICT troubleshooting is an advantage

Robotics knowledge is a plus

Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a local school environment
12 months contract (Option to extend) (Apr 26 to Mar 2027)
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
