Part-time School Counsellor (Yishun)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' emotional and social well-being.
• Conduct workshops on mental health awareness and social-emotional learning.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing challenges.
• Offer guidance on academic and career-related matters.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
• Maintain confidential counselling records and prepare reports on counselling activities.
• Participate in team meetings, programme evaluations, and professional development activities.
• Support student transition processes and early intervention programmes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Counselling or equivalent/higher qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant student counselling experience in Singapore.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Team player with a student-centric approach.
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems.
• Emotionally resilient and able to work in a dynamic environment.

Duration/Working hours:

4 months contract (Jun26 to Oct 26)
