About the job Psychologist (Resilience Psychology) (Novena)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems and programmes to support personnel well-being, ensuring that both mental and emotional health needs are effectively addressed
- Develop, plan, and deliver resilience and psychological well-being training programmes tailored to different groups and operational requirements
- Provide psychological support and timely intervention for personnel after critical incidents, helping them manage stress and recover effectively
- Offer consultation on psychology and behavioural science matters to units and stakeholders, contributing to informed decision-making and workplace effectiveness
- Build, establish, and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to enhance collaboration and support programme success
- Conduct applied research on resilience and well-being, using findings to improve existing initiatives and introduce evidence-based practices
- Support other operational functions of the unit as required, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology or higher qualification
- Familiarity with the Home Team environment is an advantage
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Confident in delivering training sessions and presentations to audiences of various sizes
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and operational setting
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders
Duration / Working Hours:
- 1 year contract (Immediate start)
- 42 hours per week
