About the job Receptionist (Ubi)
(a) Front counter duties, mainly to serve walk-in customers, students
and teachers, answer telephone calls; broadcast SMS messages
when required.
(b) Handle basic first-aid, attend to students who are unwell, and
contact parents.
(c) Follow-up on students early departure requests, staff daily
attendance / temperature records and student uniform loan
requests, etc.
(d) Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mails, documents and
magazines.
(e) Bus booking for school activities.
(f) Follow up on monthly redemption of e-transport vouchers and
meals subsidy usage by MOE-FAS students.
(g) Maintain Lost & Found records
(h) Verify documents and track financial assistance or bursary
applications.
(i) Any other duties as and when assigned by the School
Requirement:
Good communication skills in English and preferably conversant
in mother tongue
Experienced in answering telephone calls and front desk customer
service.
Experienced in administration work.
Proficient in IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Candidate with experience working as a receptionist in
mainstream school is preferred.
Duration/ Working hours:
12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026
Mondays to Fridays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break.
Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays.
