About the job Temporary Programme Facilitator (Frontline) (City Hall)
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain materials and props at installation spaces daily, ensuring sufficient supplies before opening

Engage families and explain installations to enhance learning about Singapores history and heritage
-
Facilitate interactive activities and encourage curiosity about artefacts
-
Promote family bonding through active participation in activities
-
Observe and record visitors behaviours and engagement levels
-
Track visitorship numbers using a clicker
-
Administer the self-guided Artefact Hunt and manage prize redemption
-
Assist visitors with general enquiries related to the event
-
Support on-site programmes (e.g. registration, introductions, feedback collection)
Work Schedule:
-
Minimum 15.5 days to maximum 20.5 days during contract period
-
Mandatory half-day on 29 May (2.00pm – 6.30pm)

Majority of shifts fall on weekends
-
9-hour shift (inclusive of 1-hour break)

Must be able to work weekends and public holidays as rostered
Requirements:

Enjoy interacting with children and families; experience engaging children with special needs and/or seniors is an advantage

Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly interactive frontline environment

Able to stand for extended periods with standard breaks

Punctual, reliable, and consistent attendance record
-
Strong interpersonal skills – approachable, attentive and patient

Good command of spoken English

Team player with ability to coordinate with fellow staff
