Science Lab Technician (Yishun)

Looking for a Science & Mathematics Teaching Support Assistant to support teachers and practical lessons in a primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up materials, equipment and apparatus for Science & Mathematics lessons.
• Assist teachers during practical activities and lessons.
• Maintain and organise Science laboratories, resources and equipment.
• Manage inventory, consumables and teaching resources.
• Assist with Science-related programmes, events and administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with school laboratory safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 GCE 'O' Level passes.
• At least 2 years' relevant experience in a primary school environment.
• Basic knowledge of Primary Science and Mathematics.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Duration/Working hours:

10 months contract (Option to extend another 10 months) Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
• Service Period: The required Services shall be provided during the school terms from January to May and July to November each Contract Year. No Services shall be required during June and December, unless otherwise instructed by the School.
