Science Lab Assistant (Newton)

Job Duties

• Assist the Science Department in maintaining science laboratories
• Prepare experimental setups for laboratory work
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of science laboratories
• Perform other duties assigned by the HOD or School STEM Instructors

Requirements

• GCE 'N' Level or equivalent and above
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in a secondary school Chemistry lab
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
• Able to perform routine tasks in a non-air-conditioned environment

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 45 minutes
lunch break
Fridays: 7.00am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
