About the job Finance Operation (Pasir Panjang)
To support strong financial governance, operational excellence, and high-quality reporting. You will ensure smooth finance operations, enabling Finance Business Partners to focus on strategic advisory and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Closing & Reporting: Update financial trackers, perform cost allocations, prepare accruals, journals, and pre-close checks; ensure timely and accurate month/year-end close.
- Finance Operations Support: Handle operational finance queries, manage purchase orders and fixed asset tracking, and maintain resource augmentation trackers.
- Governance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and audit requirements; monitor revenue and expense classification; escalate control gaps.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, participate in system enhancements, perform UAT, and maintain SOPs/playbooks.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with FBPs, project teams, and central finance for issue resolution and process improvements.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Conduct analyses and support Finance and organisational priorities as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or relevant professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance operations, reporting, audit, or accounting
- Experience in technology, public sector, or large matrix organisations preferred
Duration/ Working hours:
11 months contract (Immediate)
42 hours per week
