About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Medical Nurse/Caregiver Virtual Assistant to support a U.S.-based clinical care management team. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who is experienced in patient coordination, documentation, and compliance, and who can confidently support clinical operations in a remote setting.

U.S. Care Management licensure is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Administrative Support

  • Provide remote administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Manage client intake and onboarding processes

  • Schedule clinicians for home visits using the EMR/EHR system

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records

Patient Care Coordination

  • Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers via phone, email, and secure platforms

  • Answer patient inquiries within scope of practice (no diagnosing)

  • Assist in the creation and documentation of care plans under licensed supervision

  • Coordinate follow-ups, referrals, and care continuity

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and U.S. healthcare regulations

  • Support insurance billing processes and documentation

  • Generate invoices, manage vendor coordination, and track required documentation

  • Maintain confidentiality and patient-centered care standards at all times

Qualifications

Required

  • Active U.S. Care Management license (mandatory)

  • Minimum 1 year of recent healthcare or medical experience (home health or care management preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred

  • CNA, MA, RN, LPN, or Home Health Aide certification

  • Experience with insurance billing or care coordination

  • Experience supporting home health, hospice, or care management programs

  • Familiarity with telehealth or remote patient coordination

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (healthcare or medical office training preferred)

  • Reliable high-speed internet and personal smartphone

  • Current immunizations and state-required health tests (as applicable)

  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations if required

  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and patient-centered care
