About the Role
Were looking for a creative and data-driven YouTube Video Editor who lives and breathes online video. You'll transform raw recordings into polished, high-performing videos and short-form clips that drive views, watch time, and subscriber growth.
Were hiring an A-player, someone who knows more than we do about YouTube content strategy and editing, and who can lead us toward better systems, faster workflows, and stronger creative output.
Key Responsibilities

Edit two long-form YouTube videos per week (e.g., Monday Mindset & Friday Whiteboard).

Apply color correction, audio balancing, captions, intros/outros, lower-thirds, and subtle background music.

Design and A/B test 23 thumbnails per video to maximize click-through rate.

Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, cards, and end screens for SEO and viewer retention.

Extract 12 short clips per video for use on Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Track and analyze YouTube metrics (CTR, watch time, retention, subscriber growth) and provide weekly reports.

Continuously test pacing, hooks, and storytelling techniques to boost performance.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of YouTube growth, analytics, and algorithm behavior.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Familiarity with TubeBuddy, vidIQ, or similar YouTube optimization tools.

Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and engaging openings.

Experience with graphic and thumbnail design (Canva or Photoshop).

Excellent communication skills and ability to work U.S. hours.

Highly proactive, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
