Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who can do more than just cut clips. The ideal candidate has a strong visual storytelling ability and a strategic mindset for social media content. You'll be responsible for producing engaging, on-brand video content and planning how its distributed and promoted across social media platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, YouTube, websites, ads, etc.

  • Add motion graphics, transitions, music, and sound effects that enhance storytelling.

  • Optimize video formats for different platforms (IG Reels, TikTok, YT Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn).

  • Maintain consistent branding and high production quality across all video content.

Social Media Content Strategy

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars.

  • Develop video strategies aligned with platform trends, audience behavior, and brand voice.

  • Recommend content angles, hashtags, and posting schedules based on insights and analytics.

  • Monitor engagement metrics to improve future content performance.

  • Keep up with social media trends and apply best practices for growth and visibility.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and social media managers.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign and content ideas.

  • Provide creative input in project briefings and pitch your own ideas.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor (1-2+ years preferred).

  • Strong portfolio of edited videos and successful social media campaigns.

  • Proficient in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, CapCut, or similar.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn.

  • Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and audience psychology.

  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.

  • Experience with video ads (FB/IG/YT/LinkedIn campaigns).

  • Background in marketing or digital advertising.

  • Ability to shoot or direct video content is a plus.
