The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts, grow key accounts, and strengthen market presence within the construction and built environment sector. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional who understands the dynamics of construction projects and enjoys building long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the construction ecosystem
- Manage and expand relationships with developers, main contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders in collaboration with internal teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Lead negotiations and close deals while ensuring sustainable margins
- Achieve individual and team sales targets aligned with company objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the construction, civil, building materials, or related industries
- Strong network within developers, contractors, or construction stakeholders is highly advantageous
- Solid understanding of construction workflows, tendering processes, and project timelines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and commercially focused
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
