Deputy General Manager

Our client is a Singapore-based construction company specialising in civil engineering, infrastructure, and building works.

This is a critical leadership role for a senior operator with strong commercial acumen who can progressively take full ownership of business operations and performance.

Responsibilities:
Partner the Managing Director and GM to ensure operational stability, execution excellence, and commercial discipline
Oversee core functions including operations, logistics, procurement, inventory, and service delivery
Drive revenue performance, margin management, pricing discipline, and cost control
Review operational and financial results, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
Lead cross-functional coordination across Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR
Manage key customer, supplier, and internal escalations
Step in as Acting GM during the GMs absence as part of succession readiness

Requirements:
8 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or related sectors
Proven track record in both operations and commercial leadership
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in SME or mid-sized organisations

Working Location: North
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
