Senior Finance Officer

Our client is a Singapore-based engineering firm focused on delivering precision cooling solutions for mission-critical environments, including data centres and high-performance computing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Account Executives in day-to-day tasks such as journal entries, accounts receivable/payable, and general bookkeeping.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including bank reconciliations, month-end closings, and preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
• Review quarterly GST filings, coordinate with tax agents for tax computations, and work with the corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit cycles.
• Monitor and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and policies to increase efficiency and safeguard assets.
• Oversee the implementation of new accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and provide financial advice on operational matters.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts, ideally within an equipment installation or project-based industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise accounting teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant tax regulations, including GST and corporate income tax.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Working Location: East.

Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am- 5.30pm
