Finance & Accounting Supervisor (Full Set of Accounts)

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take the lead in a dynamic, project-driven environment? This role offers the opportunity to oversee a full spectrum of finance operations while driving process improvements and supporting business growth.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and mentor a small team of Account Executives, providing guidance on daily accounting operations including journal entries, AP/AR, and bookkeeping.

  • Manage the full set of accounts with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions.

  • Oversee key financial activities such as bank reconciliations, AP/AR management, month-end and year-end closing.

  • Prepare financial statements, schedules, and management reports for internal review and external audit.

  • Review and handle quarterly GST submissions and liaise with auditors and tax agents for statutory filings and annual audits.

  • Partner with the corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Annual Returns and AGM/EGM documentation.

  • Provide financial insights and operational advice to management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets.

  • Drive efficiency by reviewing and improving accounting processes and spearheading the implementation of the new QuickBooks system.

  • Undertake other ad-hoc finance responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts, ideally within a project-based or equipment installation environment.

  • Proven track record in supervising and developing accounting staff.

  • Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
