As they undergo business transformation and expansion, we are helping them attract top talent from around the world for executive roles across different functions.

Role Overview:

The Executive Manager - Business Development will play a pivotal role in expanding our client's presence in new and existing markets. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for strategic market analysis, development of entry strategies, and successful establishment in target countries and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis:
    1. Conduct comprehensive market research in the UAE to identify opportunities and challenges.
    2. Utilise knowledge of global markets to assess fitment and potential for the company's product portfolio.
  2. Strategic Planning:
    1. Develop market entry strategies, considering packaging, import regulations, distributor appointments, and payment protection.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with finance, supply chain, demand planning, marketing, production, product development, and quality assurance.
  3. Team Leadership:
    1. Supervise and lead the business development team, providing guidance on market exploration efforts.
    2. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective communication and coordination among team members.
  4. Performance Metrics:
    1. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including volume, revenue, and market share.
    2. Align strategies to achieve profit objectives if permissible under company disclosure policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field

  • MBA is a big plus.

  • 20+ years of overall experience 
  • At least 10 years be in a leadership commercial position.
  • Proven experience in business development, market entry, and team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, regional, and global markets, import regulations, and distributor networks.
