 Job Description:

CharteredPartners is seeking an experienced capital and debt advisory professional to join our client in Dubai at Partner level. The successful candidate will lead origination and execution of capital-raising and financing mandates across the GCC, advising corporates and sponsors on debt, structured finance and equity capital alongside a personal fee responsibility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and lead debt advisory, structured finance and capital-raising mandates for corporates and sponsors across the UAE and the wider GCC.
  • Advise clients on capital structure, refinancing, acquisition finance and the optimisation of senior, mezzanine and bilateral facilities.
  • Run competitive financing processes, preparing information memoranda, lender presentations and term-sheet negotiations through to financial close.
  • Cultivate relationships with regional banks, debt funds, sovereign-wealth investors and family offices to secure capital for clients.
  • Advise on debt capital markets and equity issuance, including IPO readiness on the DFM and ADX where relevant.
  • Carry a personal fee budget and set commercial terms on engagements.
  • Direct and develop a team of directors and analysts and contribute to practice strategy across ADGM and DIFC.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • ICAEW (ACA), ACCA or CFA, with a recognised degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline.
  • Twelve or more years in debt advisory, leveraged finance, capital markets or corporate finance, including a record at Director or Partner level.
  • Demonstrable origination track record across GCC financing markets.
  • Deep knowledge of debt structuring, covenant packages, intercreditor arrangements and security mechanics.
  • Fluency in the regional regulatory environment, including the SCA, ADGM and DIFC frameworks.
  • Strong command of credit analysis, leveraged modelling and debt capacity assessment.
  • Established relationships across regional banks, credit funds and sovereign and family-office capital.
  • Sound understanding of IFRS as it bears on financing and covenant definitions.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the gravitas to advise boards and win mandates.
  • A track record of leading advisory teams and developing junior bankers.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience of Islamic finance structures, including sukuk and murabaha facilities.
  • Exposure to DFM and ADX equity issuance and IPO-readiness advisory.
  • A portable network of borrower and lender relationships across the GCC.
  • Sector depth in real estate, infrastructure, energy or financial services.
  • Prior experience within a recognised global accounting-firm or investment-bank advisory practice.
  • Arabic language proficiency for regional counterparties.

Compensation:

Competitive package commensurate with seniority and experience, including base, performance-based bonus, long-term incentives and (where applicable) partner-track participation.
