Corporate Finance & Advisory Director - Dubai
Job Description:
CharteredPartners is seeking a Corporate Finance & Advisory Director to lead deal execution within the advisory practice of a well-established accounting firm in Dubai. You will run M&A and transaction engagements, own the quality of deliverables and manage senior client relationships across a growing regional deal market. The mandate spans sovereign and family-conglomerate transactions, a maturing IPO pipeline and cross-border MENA deals, working within the ADGM and DIFC environments and supporting partners in the development of the practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of M&A and transaction-advisory engagements, taking responsibility for process, analysis and outcomes.
- Own the quality of deliverables, reviewing financial models, due-diligence findings and reports before they reach clients.
- Manage senior client relationships across sovereign entities, family conglomerates and corporates in the region.
- Support a maturing IPO pipeline on DFM and ADX, including readiness assessments and financial information reviews.
- Advise on cross-border MENA transactions, addressing structuring and reporting considerations across jurisdictions.
- Support partners in business development, contributing to proposals, pitches and pricing for new mandates.
- Direct and develop engagement teams, allocating work and mentoring managers and executives.
- Operate fluently within the ADGM and DIFC regulatory frameworks relevant to transactions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) in good standing.
- Extensive post-qualification experience in corporate finance, M&A or transaction advisory, including at director or equivalent level.
- A demonstrable record of leading deal execution from mandate through to completion.
- Strong command of valuation methodologies and financial modelling under IFRS.
- Experience advising sovereign, family-conglomerate or large-corporate clients.
- Familiarity with ADGM and DIFC frameworks and the regional regulatory environment.
- Awareness of IPO processes on DFM, ADX or comparable regional exchanges.
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships independently.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of developing engagement teams.
- The right to work in the United Arab Emirates or the ability to obtain it.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to sovereign and family-conglomerate deal flow in the Gulf region.
- Experience supporting IPO readiness or capital-markets transactions in the UAE.
- A track record of cross-border MENA transactions and structuring.
- Sector specialism in areas such as real estate, energy, financial services or infrastructure.
- Established relationships across the regional corporate finance and investor community.
- Experience contributing materially to practice business development.
Compensation:
Competitive package commensurate with seniority and experience, including base, performance-based bonus, long-term incentives and (where applicable) partner-track participation.
