As the Regional Sales Director for Japan, you will join a high-performing Global Sales Organization instrumental in accelerating revenue growth within some of the worlds most prestigious corporations and law firms.
This is an entrepreneurial, high-impact role for an energetic executive ready to leverage a consultative approach to solve complex legal challenges for sophisticated clients.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Build and maintain an active sales pipeline, identifying and resolving complex client needs through a consultative sales process.
- High Stakes Presentations: Deliver compelling, concise presentations to the most demanding and time-pressed executive audiences.
- Integrated Account Management: Develop and execute detailed target account plans and penetration strategies for major law firms and corporate legal departments.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal subject matter experts and global teams to capture and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Market Engagement: Maintain a high-profile presence through an active calendar of new client meetings and industry networking events.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record in selling large-scale legal technology, eDiscovery, or Document Review services.
- Education: BA/BS degree.
- Network: An existing, robust client base of Japanese law firm and corporate contacts.
- Sales Excellence: A documented history of predictably over-achieving revenue targets and managing complex, varying sales cycles.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to articulate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders with poise and polish.
- Language: Native/Fluent Japanese (essential for local market dominance) and Business level English (required for global internal collaboration).
- Prior experience in legal advisory, legal transformation, or compliance.
- Experience selling integrated eDiscovery and Document Review solutions.
