We are supporting a global intelligence and cyber security consultancy firm's expansion plans across the APAC region. Highly respected in their industry, our client are a trusted partner to handle matters such as assessing reputation, corporate governance, track-records, corruption, bribery and other financial crime concerns, political relationships, cyber security, and regulatory dynamics, as well as ethical, social and environmental concerns on behalf of their clients.

In this role you can expect to work on a broad range of different projects, which can include but are not limited to:

  • Helping investors identify and price risk by performing investigative due diligence on M&A targets and JV partners. Performing due diligence investigations into companies, their management teams to support deals and transactions.
  • Undertake adjacent strategic intelligence requirements, such as country risk analysis, stakeholder mapping, and asset provenance investigations.
  • Supporting law firms, businesses and private clients with specialised investigative support for contentious situations such as legal proceedings, commercial disputes and internal investigations.
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Due Diligence.
  • Third Party Due Diligence. Helping corporate clients make informed decisions around third party relationships and helping them understand the integrity of suppliers, contractors, partners, agents and other third parties, assessing bribery and corruption, fraud, regulatory, reputational and sanctions risks.
  • Background Checks, to help support companies making key hires and appointments.

To be successful in this position you will be someone coming from a reputable risk consultancy and have experience handling cases end to end independently. You will be able to assist junior analysts with their work, offering guidance and quality control where required. You will have a bachelor's degree (masters preferred) from a highly regarded institution, where you first developed excellent writing and research skills. You pride yourself in delivering high quality work, can handle multiple assignments at once and adhere to strict deadlines.

Excellent English and a second Asian language are essential to being successful in this position.

Candidates with more experience can be considered for the position of Senior Associate.
