Job Summary: As a Partner/Director, you will lead our clients technical forensic accounting practice, providing strategic guidance, managing client engagements, and driving business development efforts. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in forensic accounting, have a strong network of connections, and be highly respected within the local market for their proficiency in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.
    • Leverage your extensive network of contacts to generate leads, secure new clients, and build long-term relationships.
    • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance our visibility and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Client Engagement and Project Management:
    • Manage and oversee complex forensic accounting engagements, including fraud investigations, financial dispute resolutions, and litigation support.
    • Provide expert guidance on financial analysis, data interpretation, and the application of forensic accounting techniques.
    • Ensure exceptional quality in project delivery, meeting client expectations, and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of forensic accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Conduct complex financial analysis, including the examination of financial statements, transactional data, and accounting records.
    • Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential financial irregularities.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to forensic accounting.
    • Contribute to the development of intellectual property, whitepapers, and industry publications to enhance the firm's thought leadership position.
    • Deliver presentations and represent the firm as a subject matter expert in forensic accounting forums and professional associations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or CFE are preferred.
  • Extensive experience in technical forensic accounting, gained within a reputable professional services firm.
  • Proven track record of driving business development and cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Well-connected within the local market, with a solid network of contacts in the legal, corporate, and regulatory sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
