The role requires the incumbent to define and implement best practices for the TIBCO integration platform, focusing on design, development, and support to enhance foundational structures. This position involves migrating existing systems to new platforms, optimizing integration processes, and contributing to overall solution development and quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish best practices for the design, construction, and support of the TIBCO integration platform.
  • Lead migration projects for TIBCO BW, EMS, MQ Adapter from current platforms to upgraded environments.
  • Expertise in RHEL 8+, Java, Oracle, and other TIBCO Products (e.g., Hawk, Rendezvous) is essential.
  • Enhance the existing migration framework and utilities to support customer-specific customizations.
  • Actively contribute to the end-to-end solutioning for new integration streams.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at defect leakage reduction and overall quality improvement.
  • Provide application and technical support across various systems and platforms, ensuring best practice processes and procedures are established.
  • Engage in effective communication with business and technology stakeholders at different levels.
  • Support multiple applications, leading the planning, design, and execution of efficient support and process models.
  • Understand and apply software process models like Agile and Waterfall in project management.
  • Manage incidents and problems, including tracking and reporting until resolution to minimize production incidents.
  • Participate in capacity planning, re-engineering, and performance fine-tuning for complex integration platforms.
  • Execute infrastructure migrations, including database migrations, server migrations, and version upgrades from a production support perspective.

Requirements:

  • TIBCO BW certification with TCP certifications in TIBCO BW5, BW 6, or BWCE. Cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the Technology field, with a focus on Integration Architecture and hands-on roles in both development and production support for TIBCO BW, EMS, and middleware Adapters.
  • Proven track record in providing application and technical assistance across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Experience in communicating effectively across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting multiple applications and establishing best practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Skilled in planning, designing, and executing effective support and process models.
  • Knowledge of software process models like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experienced in incident and problem management, with a focus on reducing production incidents.
