Senior Accounts Executive

The role requires the incumbent to manage comprehensive financial operations, including the full set of monthly accounts for the organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective vendor and banking relationships, contributing directly to the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices, manage accounts payable function, and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports weekly to manage and improve cash flow.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Develop and maintain accounting schedules for month-end reporting and year-end audit purposes.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in the coordination and facilitation of the external year-end audit process, including liaising with auditors.
• Prepare documentation for annual tax returns and estimated chargeable income (ECI) submissions, working with tax agents.
• Ensure strict adherence to the company's transaction approval policies, including order and payment processing.
• Perform treasury functions, including updating the daily cash book and managing cash flow.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties, such as handling banking matters and maintaining positive banking relationships.
• Manage vendor relations from the finance perspective, overseeing the entire payment cycle.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Accountancy, with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts.
• The candidate must be responsible, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.
