The candidate will be responsible for managing projects, enhancing process integration, and driving continuous improvement, while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Safety: Conduct risk assessments to preemptively address potential safety issues and report any hazards identified in the workplace.
  • Project Management: Initiate and lead projects aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency and reliability, coordinating with cross-functional teams to define project timelines, execution plans, and resource requirements, while managing risks and ensuring timely achievement of milestones.
  • Benchmarking: Stay updated with industry trends, conducting benchmarking studies to compare vendor and competitor cell performances.
  • Research and Development: Engage in research to generate improvement ideas, conducting experiments to validate hypotheses and applying findings to enhance process and product performance.
  • Quality and Data Analysis: Resolve quality issues through effective troubleshooting, providing regular updates on progress, and perform data analysis to uncover improvement opportunities or support ongoing investigations.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: A Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering, with a preference for candidates possessing knowledge of semiconductor/solar cell and module processes.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Proficiency in process integration and development methods.
    • Familiarity with PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE, and Fish-Bone Analysis.
    • Strong technical analysis skills, with proficiency in analytical tools such as JMP and Mini-Tab for troubleshooting and data mining.
    • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and support production needs as required.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Effective communication skills, with a commitment to resolving issues and providing timely updates.
    • A dynamic and committed attitude, proactive in initiating improvements without direct orders.
    • Team player with highly effective personal and organizational skills.
    • Advanced data mining and analysis capabilities, with programming knowledge.
    • Experience in electrical and physical characterization or failure analysis tools for systematic troubleshooting and improvement.
