About the job HR Manager

You will lead and deliver the full range of human resources responsibilities for the Singapore office, while providing trusted HR advice to Group Management. This role owns both strategic people initiatives and hands-on execution, ensuring HR operations, compliance, and workplace administration run smoothly and consistently.

Key responsibilities


  • Translate business priorities into practical HR plans, programs, and policies that support growth and performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for managers on HR matters, including employee conduct, grievances, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.
  • Build a positive, productive work environment through strong communication, engagement activities, and culture initiatives.
  • Anticipate workforce needs and support talent retention, capability building, and succession planning where relevant.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit, including employment contracts, confirmations, transfers, letters, and separation documentation.
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with statutory obligations.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including enrolment, claims, vendor liaison, and employee support.
  • Maintain HR systems and records (HRIS and personnel files), ensuring data accuracy, access control, and usable reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to employment regulations and internal policies, serving as the local reference for HR compliance requirements.
  • Support hiring execution when needed, including job advertisement coordination, interview logistics, candidate communications, and offer documentation.
  • Coordinate performance review administration, including timelines, forms, tracking, and completion reporting.
  • Plan and administer learning activities, including scheduling, vendor coordination, training records, and budget monitoring.
  • Monitor HR metrics and dashboards and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Improve HR processes through standardization, documentation, automation, and continuous workflow refinement.
  • Run day-to-day office administration to ensure smooth operations for staff and visitors.
  • Manage office spend and budgets, tracking costs and identifying savings opportunities.
  • Own vendor relationships (for example, office services, supplies, and facilities-related partners), including renewals and service quality.
  • Ensure office-related practices comply with relevant local requirements and company standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Head Office as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Manager, HRBP, or HR advisory role with strong operational ownership; office administration exposure is an advantage.
  • Proven experience with HRIS and payroll administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of local employment practices and HR compliance.
  • Clear communicator who can manage stakeholders at multiple levels with professionalism and discretion.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
  • Analytical and improvement-minded, able to strengthen controls, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
