Digital Content Creator (Contract – 9 Months | Hybrid)
A well-established, consumer-focused organization is seeking a hands-on, concept-driven Digital Content Creator to support the growth of its social media presence. This role is focused on building original, platform-native content that strengthens brand storytelling, drives engagement, and supports measurable marketing outcomes.
This is a maker role first. You'll spend the majority of your time ideating, capturing, editing, and delivering content yourself, while collaborating with brand, social, and creative teams to ensure alignment with overall strategy and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Create original, social-first content across short-form video, static, and emerging formats for both organic and paid channels
Produce a mix of polished and fast-turn scrappy content using mobile and lightweight production tools
Own end-to-end content execution including ideation, capture, editing, captioning, and delivery
Develop scalable, repeatable content formats to support ongoing social cadence and campaigns
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, creative direction, and accessibility requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including social media, brand strategy, communications, and paid media
Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining speed and creative quality
Leverage social listening insights and trends to inform content ideas
Contribute creative concepts to broader marketing and campaign initiatives
Continuously refine content based on performance insights and platform trends
Required Skills
Strong video editing, motion, and design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CapCut
Experience creating social-first content independently from concept through execution
Deep understanding of social platforms, audience behavior, and best practices
Ability to translate strategy into engaging, executable content
Strong storytelling instincts, visual standards, and attention to detail
Comfortable working within brand guidelines, review processes, and collaborative environments
Experience with project and asset management tools (e.g., Monday.com, OneDrive, or similar)
Preferred
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
Background working in an in-house creative or brand studio
Familiarity with accessibility standards in digital content
