TITLE: Manager, Technical Accounting & Reporting

POSITION SUMMARY

This role focuses on technical accounting and external reporting. Responsibilities include drafting accounting memos, supporting SEC filings, and providing US GAAP guidance across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and review external financial reports, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings

Support financial statement tie-outs, disclosures, and MD&A in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements

Draft technical accounting memos on complex topics such as equity, debt, revenue, leases, and business combinations

Manage accounting for stock-based compensation, including journal entries and related disclosures

Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures

Research and resolve technical accounting issues, providing clear recommendations

Monitor new accounting standards and assist with implementation

Support SOX compliance and internal controls documentation

Partner with internal teams across finance and accounting

Assist with audit processes, including preparing deliverables and responding to auditors

Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

CPA preferred

4+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or public company experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 718 and ASC 842

Experience with SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)

Understanding of SOX 404 and internal controls

Advanced Excel skills

Strong technical accounting and memo-writing ability

Effective communication skills across teams

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
