Financial Systems & Accounting Lead

NetSuite ERP Implementation | Remote/Hybrid

Our client is seeking a Financial Systems & Accounting Lead to play a key role in a large-scale NetSuite ERP implementation. This position sits at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, and Technology and will help drive the design, implementation, and optimization of financial processes within NetSuite.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands both accounting operations and ERP systems and enjoys leading cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, reporting, and scalability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead accounting and finance workstreams throughout the NetSuite implementation lifecycle
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external implementation consultants
• Help design and optimize key financial processes including:
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Translate accounting and business requirements into scalable system solutions
• Support system design decisions involving:
  • Chart of Accounts
  • Multi-entity structures
  • Revenue recognition
  • Allocations and reporting
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, and go-live readiness activities
• Oversee financial data migration and reconciliation efforts
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting capabilities

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of accounting, finance, financial systems, or ERP experience
• Prior involvement in ERP implementations, preferably NetSuite
• Strong understanding of:
  • General Ledger
  • Financial reporting
  • Month-end close
  • AP, AR, and revenue processes
• Experience gathering requirements and working across Finance, Accounting, IT, and external consulting teams
• Ability to lead projects, facilitate discussions, and drive execution
