Senior Electrical Engineer Reporting to Dongguan
(I) Key Responsibilities: Country to be determined based on project requirements. One position required for each of the following regions: Taiwan/USA/Southeast Asia (Malaysia/Vietnam/India).
1. Participate in project proposal discussions, providing input and technical support for field-related aspects. Engage in task allocation, chair various meetings, and conduct team training sessions;
2. Select electrical components for automation equipment, draft electrical schematics, develop and debug PLC/HMI programming to complete project design;
3. Conduct electrical design adhering to company procedures and project requirements. Oversee project implementation, manage progress, cost control, risk assessment and testing verification to fulfil design/development objectives;
4. Investigate technical challenges and validate specific functionalities. Collaborate with the project department to organise and archive documentation per company requirements;
5. Research and monitor core technologies relevant to company operations, providing technical advisory support for decision-making. Track and accumulate knowledge of cutting-edge electrical control technologies.
(II) Qualifications:
1. College diploma or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Automation, Electrical Engineering & Automation, or related disciplines;
2. Possess 5-7 years' experience in electrical design or R&D for non-standard automated equipment;
3. Demonstrate thorough familiarity with the functions, principles, and characteristics of common electrical and pneumatic components including servo motors, stepper motors, variable frequency drives, various sensors, solenoid valves, and cylinders; capable of correct selection and appropriate application in control systems;
4. Proficient in PLC programming and touchscreen programming for brands including Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Panasonic, and Inovance; skilled in operating common robotics brands such as ABB, Inovance, Fanuc, KUKA, and Epson;
5. Strong learning aptitude and communication skills, adept at teamwork, possessing innovative thinking and rapid learning capabilities;
6. Possesses overseas assignment experience (fluent in Chinese/English). Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous. Applicants must be foreign nationals from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, or other countries.
