About the job Senior Mechanical Engineer (3 HC, SEA & TW & NA)
(I) Key Responsibilities:
1. Design technical solutions and evaluate component cost schedules based on client requirements;
2. Complete detailed project designs, including corresponding drawings, BOMs, pneumatic diagrams, and assembly process specifications;
3. Oversee project timelines and quality control to minimise design and development costs;
4. Assist in resolving anomalies identified during assembly and commissioning, and prepare relevant reports and summaries throughout equipment development;
5. Collaborate with supervisors to establish departmental design standards and standardisation protocols;
6. Demonstrate proficiency in analysing FA reports with strong written communication skills;
(II) Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years' independent design and development experience; preference given to candidates with expertise in non-standard projects, A-grade projects, dispensing systems, and 3C automation industries;
2. Solid mechanical design foundation, including familiarity with FA component selection, common mechanical material properties, machining processes, and surface treatments;
3. Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and related software;
4. Knowledgeable in linkage mechanisms and mechanical analysis; skilled in tolerance analysis;
5. Understanding of project engineering processes, capable of deconstructing or redefining efficient workflows to optimise automation layouts;
6. Creative thinking, strong communication skills, proactive attitude, excellent execution and accountability;
7. Willing to work diligently, adaptable to occasional overtime and business travel, with resilience under pressure;
8. Capable of liaising with clients on proposals, possessing clear thinking and strong communication skills.
9. Must have overseas posting experience (fluent in Chinese/English), restricted to foreign nationals from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia (Malaysia/Vietnam/India) or other countries.
