Overview

The Process Innovation Associate (PIA) for the HR Department is a high-potential, systems-minded individual placed within Human Resources to uncover inefficiencies, modernize workflows, and implement practical, people-centric improvements that hone down on the purpose of HR and the results is should deliver.

This role is not about administrative support, its about rethinking how HR delivers its value. If you naturally question outdated processes, thrive on solving operational puzzles, and want to help make HR faster, smarter, and more impactful, this is your entry point.

You'll be embedded in the department, observing, analyzing, and improving.


Core Responsibilities

Improve HR Results

Develop internal department plans and strategies

Analyze Inefficiencies

Identify outdated, manual, or slow processes and uncover root causes.

Optimize Workflows

Redesign processes to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Prototype Solutions

Develop lightweight tools or models for rapid process improvements.

Address Human Factors

Identify behavioral or structural issues limiting performance.

Collaborate Effectively

Work across teams to align improvements with strategic goals.

Support Implementation

Drive adoption with clear documentation and user engagement.

Report Impact

Track improvements and present results to senior leadership.

Skills: Analytical thinking, process mapping, systems design, attention to detail, familiarity with HR tech is a plus.
