Overview

The Process Innovation Associate (PIA) is a high-potential, engineering-minded individual placed within the Human Resources department to identify inefficiencies, rethink processes, and design data-driven improvements that enhance the employee experience.

This role goes beyond routine HR administration it applies structured problem-solving to human interactions, employee lifecycle management, and policy and procedure creation for these improvements, making sure that human errors are mitigated. You will be building an employee experience as thoughtfully as an engineer designs a system ensuring every touchpoint is purposeful, efficient, and engaging.

Core Responsibilities

Analyze Inefficiencies

Identify outdated, manual, or slow HR processes and uncover their root causes.

Optimize Workflows

Redesign employee lifecycle and HR service processes for speed, accuracy, and impact.

Prototype Solutions

Develop tools, templates, and systems to simplify HR operations and improve service delivery.

Address Human Factors

Identify behavioral or structural barriers that reduce employee engagement or process efficiency.

Collaborate Effectively

Work with HR and other departments to align improvements with company-wide goals.

Support Implementation

Ensure adoption through clear documentation, user-friendly tools, and active engagement.

Report Impact

Measure and present the results of improvements to HR leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education: Fresh graduate with a BSc in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.

Mindset: Highly proactive, self-starter, and independent thinker. Prefers figuring it out over waiting for instructions.

Skills: Analytical thinking, process modeling, problem-solving, data analysis, basic programming/scripting a plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, ability to influence without authority, quick learner, adaptable, empathetic, and resilient in ambiguous environments.
