Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Procurement and Vendor Management Supervisor in daily operations.
  2. Provide information and assistance in preparing purchase requisitions from departments for local and overseas supplies and equipment.
  3. Verify and process purchase requisitions from all departments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with needs.
  4. Ensure that purchased items meet the best standards of price, delivery time, service, and quality.
  5. Monitor and ensure that local and overseas suppliers process purchase orders in accordance with contracts and deliver goods on time as specified.
  6. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing suppliers.
  7. Identify and evaluate new, reliable local and overseas suppliers to meet SPH's needs.
  8. Develop and implement systems to verify that goods received match purchase requisition specifications before acceptance.
  9. Ensure timely delivery of goods to respective departments as requested.
  10. Participate in school-organized training, fellowships, retreats, celebrations, seminars, and events, and coordinate attendance where needed.
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned in an efficient and timely manner.

Job Requirements

  • Strong, demonstrable Christian faith and alignment with Biblical Christian values in education.
  • Commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of SPH.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in vendor management or procurement.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
  • High level of honesty, reliability, and integrity.
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
